Hello, I'm Daniel!
Software Engineer
Texas A&M University
Hello! My name is Daniel Zhang. I am currently a junior at Texas A&M
University, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, as well as minors
in math and statistics. My passion involves creating and coding
unique solutions to problems or tasks that could potentially help in
people's everyday lives. This drove me towards software development
and data science, resulting in a major in Computer Science. Computer
Science has the power to transform how tasks are handled, providing
solutions to repetitive tasks that prevent people from more
important projects while shaping how I approach problems from an
analytical perspective.
Throughout my time at Texas A&M University, I have had the
opportunity to work on many personal projects, providing me vital
experiences and the chance to work with other software developers.
It has pushed me to learn essential frameworks and languages that
are used consistently in the industry. As a Project Manager for the
Aggie Coding Club and a Systems Administrator for the Texas A&M
Badminton Club, I have realized the importance of collaborating with
fellow students to achieve goals that would be hard to achieve
otherwise. With these experiences as well as my experience in the
industry, I have multiple technical areas of interest, which
include: CICD, backend development, cloud computing, and machine
learning.
I am excited to continue to grow as a student and a coder by
exploring opportunities offered in the industry to leverage my
skills as a software developer and continue to grow while making an
impact. Feel free to reach out to me!
